Roberta Ann Weisenburg

A native of  New Jersey, at age 21, Roberta Ann became an apprentice to master goldsmith and manufacturer of fine jewelry.   She headed the custom wax department, refined and cast precious metals, and made vulcanized rubber molds.

She moved to San Francisco in 1984, and continued studies in metal arts and gemology. Attended City College of San Francisco, The Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, The Gemological Institute of America and various workshops given by the Metal Arts Guild of San Francisco.

In July of 2012, Roberta Ann became a Certified Argentium Instructor at Jewelry Studies International in Austin, Texas. She is looking forward to educating jewelers of its special properties at her studio and beyond.

Roberta Ann has relocated her studio to Makawao, Hawaii where she specializes in Custom Design, Fabrication, Fusing, Granulation and Teaching Jewelry Techniques.
 
She has exhibited and sold her work in San Francisco Galleries, Velvet da Vinci and Flux, D & H Sustainable Jewelers, and Wonderland. Her 22k Gold is currently being exhibited at Studio 22k in Paia, Maui, HI.

Roberta Ann been a participant and exhibitor in San Francisco's ARTSPAN Open Studios for many years.

Roberta Ann's 22k Granulation was featured and published in the "500 Earrings" Book published by Lark Books.

In 2009, Roberta was invited to demonstrate lost wax techniques at the Legion of Honor Museum to the patrons during the Artistic Luxury: Faberge', Tiffany, Lalique exhibition.

She is a current member of the Metal Arts Guild of San Francisco.
